Ramya started baking when she was 16 and went on to love cooking and mixing cocktails – this was her ‘thing’ and the kitchen was her ‘place’. Turning 30 sparked off a personal journey towards health and wellness in a bid to eliminate her chronic health issues once and for all. This led to a keen interest in food science driven by a profound appreciation of the notion that “you are what you eat.”

Two years later, Ramya learnt that she could no longer consume wheat or dairy for health reasons. Fast forward another two years and Oh My Goodness! was born. Indeed, Oh My Goodness! is the culmination of Ramya’s own health and wellness journey resulting in an intrinsic understanding of her customers and their cravings and of course, a delectable range of products.

Ramya is currently pursuing a Certificate in Food Science & Technology at Singapore Polytechnic. She already has a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons.) from the National University of Singapore and an MBA from INSEAD. A firm believer of paying it forward, Ramya serves as a mentor to students in her former programme, The University Scholars Programme, and has even created internship opportunities for students of the Programme. She is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at INSEAD and also sits on the ExCo of INDEVOR, the INSEAD Global Impact Network.

Ramya is also a seasoned marketing communications and brand strategy professional with more than 12 years of experience enabling business impact and growth in Asia Pacific, Africa, Europe and the Middle East through effective marketing, communications and brand development. Through a marketing communications and brand consultancy she set up upon graduation from her MBA, Ramya has advised social enterprises, impact funds and international organisations based in London, Singapore, Bangkok, Frankfurt and Tirana (Albania) with the aim of enabling and empowering startups and SMEs through their early stages of growth by means of a solid and strategic go-tomarket approach. Most recently, Ramya served as a judge at the FedEx Express/JA International Trade Challenge 2018 Asia Pacific Finals in Singapore and an instructor at the inaugural six-day SUSSPIAGET Start-up Challenge in Jakarta.

Ramya is a also yoga teacher-in-training and an avid travel photographer.
