Group Director, Programmes Health Promotion Board (HPB)

The Health Promotion Board (HPB) was established in 2001 as the driver for national health promotion and disease prevention in Singapore. HPB’s efforts in healthy lifestyle promotion and disease prevention have made a significant impact on Singapore’s health landscape over the years.

 

Joanna heads the Programmes Group in HPB, and is responsible for planning, developing and executing the complete and integrated suite of program strategies, initiatives and customer experience to achieve sustainable and measurable changes in healthy lifestyle behaviours, to improve the health outcome amongst Singapore residents.

 

Previously, she was Director of Corporate & Industry Partnerships, and was responsible for developing and building long-term public and commercial partnerships and collaborations that will support HPB’s strategies and initiatives.

 

Joanna has more than 25 years of experience in business planning & development, product marketing and management, go-to-market strategy, and strategic partnership in the private sector. Prior to joining HPB, she was the Vice President of Mobile Services in StarHub, a leading telecommunication provider in Singapore, where she held overall accountability for the business performance and P&L of the mobile business, as well as championing and driving strategic partnerships.
