Sun Yining started her career with Bain and Company. Over ten years at Bain, she worked with clients in a wide range of industries including aviation, financial services, food & beverage, healthcare, industrial products, media & entertainment, Private Equity and technology. Yining has worked in Singapore, Boston, Hong Kong, Malaysia, New York and Seoul.

She subsequently spent ten years with Wilmar International, a Singapore-based global agribusiness group with a significant consumer foods business. As Senior Manager of Business Development she was responsible for the group’s global M&A and joint venture collaborations. Yining worked on projects in consumer foods, commodities and bio-chemicals. Her work included projects in West Africa which she considers amongst the most interesting and fulfilling ones of her career. She subsequently served as Group Head of Human Resources before leaving to take time off to spend time with her young children.

Yining has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BSc from The London School of Economics & Political Science where she graduated with first-class honors in Economics.
